Lincoln Club of San Diego Endorses Jim Desmond for Congress
Today, the Lincoln Club of San Diego County announced its official endorsement of San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond for Congress in California’s 49th Congressional District.
The Lincoln Club, one of the region’s most prominent business advocacy organizations, cited Desmond’s proven leadership, commitment to fiscal responsibility, and unwavering support for small businesses as key reasons for the endorsement.
“Jim Desmond is a trusted, proven leader for business,” said Brian Pepin, Political Director of the Lincoln Club. “He has consistently stood up for job creators, cut through red tape, and delivered results. We’re proud to support him for Congress and look forward to having him fight for us in Washington, D.C.”
As a former Navy veteran, Delta Airlines captain, and two-term County Supervisor, Jim Desmond has earned a reputation for getting things done and championing economic growth—especially for businesses burdened by California’s high costs and overregulation.
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Lincoln Club,” said Desmond. “California is one of the toughest places to run a business—high taxes, overregulation, and constant political headwinds. I’ve been a voice for businesses at the County, and I’ll do the same in Congress. I will always fight for the job creators and innovators who power our economy.”
Desmond has made lowering the cost of living, supporting businesses and restoring common-sense governance central pillars of his campaign for Congress.
